Firstly, the image is checked for the correct size and resolution for printing. Damaged photos come in many forms, from physical damage like cracks and water stains to fading from exposure to light and environmental factors…. restoring these images involves delicate digital repairs that remove imperfections while preserving the authenticity of the original photograph. Discolouration, colour casts or fading and finer details that were lost or obscured are reinstated. Your photo may be a family portrait or a candid snapshot, black & white or colour, our photo restoration ensures that its historical and sentimental value is maintained.
A final sharpening of the image may be necessary (only subtle sharpening is carried out) …whilst blurred images were problematic in the past, the use of AI has remedied this issue and, is the best option and the only part of AI which is wholly accurate.
We email a watermarked copy to the client to make sure the photo is of the correct standard to their requirements
skin tones are dark and not smooth...as an experiment, Ai produced a two tone necklace....this is why I'm not keen on using it.

Cropping has removed some blemishes, but there are still scratches to remove
This has all major blemishes removed and cleaned up. Slight enhancement of the subject and a tweak of the tone overall. Job done!
